My son, who has spent the last few months getting excited about the Chaotic game, was banned from the game last week for trying to enter his cards. I had ordered a big box of cards from eBay, including both starter decks and a case of 24 cards. Part of the “fun� of the game is the player then has to manually enter each unique number on every card.
I guess they have installed something that is supposed to stop people from hacking the system and putting BS numbers in. But since Michael is not an experience data entry person at 13 years old, he may have made a few mistakes while entering the hundreds of cards. So the game has banned him.
We have sent a trouble ticket to the support staff, but it’s now been 4 days and we have not heard back. I’m guessing we won’t get a response. This game has been plagued with delays and bugs, and I’m guessing this is just yet another one. I’m not overly surprised since they have actually built an online game in .net, which is pretty faulty logic to begin with.
Has anyone else had issues being banned from the Chaotic card game online?
I’m sick of the online game because they keep on banning me for no reason.so I just want some dang real card not online cards.
That’s a problem that is becoming more and more common… and it’s a sad one. If someone has a North American Warcraft Game code, and they try to make an account from an IP address with a location outside of Blizzard’s North American region, the account may be quickly banned. One guy got banned within 72 hours. Lately, they just do a preliminary check on your IP to see what’s up and stop you from even starting.
However, there’s also people that travel the world. Go to the wrong region and play WoW once, you may be permanently banned without warning. (Especially true for China, were most professional gamers live since this is the heart of the gaming industry.)
I remember the good ol days when companies just left gamers alone.

I’d contact one of the administrators. There are a lot of parental features in this game. I created an account and my son has one. I like participating with him so I know what it’s like. Except we are having issues with the software and cannot play at all. They are working on the problem and are fixing it soon I hope. This game is still only in the Beta process right now and you have to realize there are going to be a lot of mistakes, bug and growing pains before they get everything sorted out. But I’m pretty sure they will un-ban people pretty quickly if there were some misunderstandings because there are bound to be at this point. We haven’t gone out and bought any card decks yet I’m waiting till we give this a try to see if the little guy likes it. So good luck to you.
Hi, my son has autism and does not have friends to play trading card games with. He wants the Chaotic cards to play with his dad. I know nothing about these things so please pardon my ignorance. What he has asked me is to really play the tcg, does he need several other people to play with, or is it something he could actually play just with his dad?
Susan - From what I understand Chaotic is more about playing online, which of course his dad can help him with. His dad can also buy cards and play against him.
My son also plays Yu-gi-oh, which is something you play with cards and people.
Depending on how old your son is, you may want to look into something like World of Warcraft. That is something where both he and his dad could have characters and play with each other online. My son and I enjoy playing that sometimes as well. It’s a bit more collaborative than Chaotic or other TCG.

We have the automatic banning in place to protect our users and their cards by preventing people from trying to enter false codes too many times. You’re meant to get a “Master Code” in the starter decks that let you upload the whole set apart from for the four rare inserts.
Anyway the game’s still in beta, so you’ve got to reserve judgment until it’s officially released.

Mohamed - I’m afraid I don’t have much to offer here. We just kept sending email to support at Chaotic until his account got unlocked. There is a comment above from someone from Chaotic who says they have fixed this issue. His email is ChaoticSupport@tcdent.com. I would email him and ask if he can unlock your son’s account.

Mohamed - I never heard back directly from them either, so don’t really have much that I can do. Just keep emailing them until they fix the problem.
It looks like Chaotic is very lacking on their customer service.
I guess I need to clarify things here. I am not associated with Chaotic in any way. My son plays their game…that’s it. It seems like some people think I have some sort of insight into the company. I really can’t help anyone with problems with the game.

Jerome, u can’t report someone for not responding to a question they can’t answer. And Ed, the game has a few bugs. the chaotic pad program needed to play keeps shuting down on me because there are too many people on at one time. Be patint, and I’m positiv that your problem will be solved.
