Actually I seem to be having problems with them as well. Originally I aimed to sell an account through GamePal, but I never heard back from them. So I moved onto GameWar where I then attempted to sell two accounts (not realizing at the time that they are indeed related).

The first account was from SWG, and I was pleasantly surprised by what they were willing to pay (funny how it was more than gamepal). The 2nd account was from EvE, and the payout for that was pretty good also. So here I am, the EvE account was taken care of within 3 days, but the SWG account still has not been taken care of after 9 days.

Unfortunately for them I've got my own personal case of anxiety, so I'm like writing them every other day, and still getting the run around. So after doing a little searching first I ran into ripoff report and then this blog (used google search: gamepal gamewar gametag). LoL, what a bunch of crap, and oh yeah, apparently "Luna" is still the live chat operator.

Well, I just wish I had found this blog before I let Gamepal.com steal my money. At first all was well, but there problems with paypal and gamepal reset my password. Within 24 hours I had the problem with paypal corrected and the funds were released. That was over 2 weeks ago and I still have no account. They sent a new password after a week, but when I tried to change some of the account contact information on the blizzard website gamepal reset it again... so the wait continues. They do keep emailing me back, but I think that is their scam. They keep you hanging in hopes that you will wait and eventually loose interest and the will and or ability to persue legal recourse.

I do not recommend gamepal to anyone. I have bought an account from them and have been sending them emails ect so i can receive my full info on the account for about 4-5 months now. They have not even replied to one of my emails or taken any action. Even though their 24/7 people are very nice.(they are a 3rd part who has no care for gamepal at all just as long as they get paid)

Hello all!

Sorry I had been busy working the past few months and didn't follow up with my posts.

They ended up selling me a hacked ffxi account last year. After posting here they gave me a respond and a coupon for another account of the same value.

The coupon went through and I selected another account. However, the one thing similar to the last time was that all dropable gears and gil listed on description were removed.

And just like the first account, once I followed the procedure by changing pw and info reactivating account. I then realized the described gears and gil were gone once again, so I immediately email them about that. Well... no reply again, just like the last time LOL!!

Since you have to be the one to re-activate the account to see if everything is there, there was no way of ever verifying if it was ever there.

Welp thats my story! Lets just say if you are lucky to get your order through, you can expect anything dropable had been looted and sold!

Have a good day!

I wish I read this about two weeks ago before I bought from Gamewar. It has been 12 days since I ordered a World of Warcraft account from them and I have not heard from them once. Not even an email. I go into "Live Chat" and they tell you to email "accounts@gamewar.com". You email them and they do not reply, even after 20 emails. I have an open dispute through Paypal right now. DO NOT under any circumstances buy from Gamewar.com. The whole thing is a scam.

I found this site by searching on the phrase "warcraft account complaint"

I wish I had found it a month ago.

I just wanted to mention that sites selling World of Warcraft accounts may be affiliated with GamePal. For example, I bought an account at Newbville.com but the payment via PayPal went to MMO Account Character Services (sales@gamepal.com).Additionally, the web sites for Newbville and GamePal are pretty similar. I won't recount my experience with Newbville as it would take too long, but I would never advise anyone to buy an account from them. I still do not have the information registered with the account including the email address and the account can be taken back by them or the original owner anytime and I will have nothing to show for it. The account wasn't as advertised, and their guarantee on their web site is not worth the virtual space it is written on IMHO.

While waiting for replies to my repeated emails I bought an account at MMOBay that I can actually use. I am not advertising for them, and would only suggest that people who really want to buy an account try to find an account somewhere being sold by someone who seems reputable, for example, someone who has been a registered seller on eBay for a long time with a good feeback record.

I hope people thinking about buying a WoW account find this site and read the comments.
