We celebrated an early 4th of July yesterday, although I’m sure there will be at least a few fireworks tonight. If this year is like the last, most of the day will be filled with protesters and demonstrations, so we’ll just stay at home.
Jericho was one of the lucky shows to get a second wind due to the support of fans. But it looks like that wasn’t enough to make it last past this season. Last night CBS aired the final episode of the post-apocalyptic drama.

I got a special treat this weekend; I got to go see Barack Obama speak in Medford. Knowing how popular the event would be, we got in line hours before they opened up. That ended up being a pretty good plan. Not only did we get in, but we got really good seats.Â
