We celebrated an early 4th of July yesterday, although I’m sure there will be at least a few fireworks tonight. If this year is like the last, most of the day will be filled with protesters and demonstrations, so we’ll just stay at home.

Jericho was one of the lucky shows to get a second wind due to the support of fans. But it looks like that wasn’t enough to make it last past this season. Last night CBS aired the final episode of the post-apocalyptic drama.
The Truth About Hillary Clinton - Bosnia, NAFTA, SCHIP and Northern Ireland
Published March 25th, 2008 in Politics. 1 CommentThis week we have seen Hillary Clinton admit to “misspeakingâ€? about the danger she and her daughter faced during their 1996 visit to Bosnia. From the looks of the political blogs and forums I visit it appears that people are considering this more of a lie than “misspeakingâ€?. For those who haven’t heard, Senator Clinton […]
I got a special treat this weekend; I got to go see Barack Obama speak in Medford. Knowing how popular the event would be, we got in line hours before they opened up. That ended up being a pretty good plan. Not only did we get in, but we got really good seats.Â
There has been a lot of back and forth on Clinton vs. Obama, and I have made no secret my support for Senator Obama. But I think things should be becoming even clearer now.

I thought it funny to see some of the Democrat candidates jump over Obama last week for stating that he felt Ronald Reagan was a president who brought about change. Keep in mind that these are the same candidates that when asked what their biggest weakness is, Edwards answered it was his passion for the […]
Some thoughts on the New Hampshire Democratic Debate
Published January 6th, 2008 in Politics. 0 CommentsI was a little surprised with the debate last night. I had expected different approaches from a couple of the candidates. First off, I expected Clinton to take a more positive tone, instead she continued to by the voice of negativity. I expected Edwards to be a little more aggressive against Obama, but to his […]
Thoughts on New Jersey Banning the Death Penalty
Published December 17th, 2007 in Current Events and Politics. 1 CommentI spent a lot of my years with fairly conservative views, at least when it came to financial and international affairs. But I have always had two core beliefs that kept me distanced from the title of right wing. First, I’m pro-choice. I, like I imagine most people, would not vote for […]
